Love without trust is not love at all. It is just a bit of “like” to be honest. God: “You like me, but you don’t want to fully commit. You don’t want to go all in because you’re afraid of being let down as you have in the past.

But who was right there each time you were hurt— counting your tears and picking you up when you didn’t want to face the world? It was Me.”

God requires love and in order to truly love Him with your whole heart, mind and soul you must trust Him beyond all logic and mere human understanding. His thoughts and ways are far beyond what we can comprehend, so don’t look for things to always logically make sense, or for the solution to come as you expect. Release your expectations so your hands and heart will be free to catch all of the gifts and blessings He has for you.

His burden is light, so let those bags go! Let that pain go, let the depression go, let anger and bitterness go; say goodbye to offense! If you are holding on to all of these harmful (spiritual) things, how can you elevate? He wants to remove you from your past mistakes— as far as east is from west.

He wants to show you what real love is and the life that He designed for you to have. A life free of worry, complaint and stress. This life doesn’t come without problems, but it comes with an instruction manual on how to get through them with internalized joy, peace and rest. How do you get that? TRUST

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18 NIV

God is love *1 John 4:7
