If you’re anything like me, your desire to attend the movie theaters has drastically changed since the onset of Covid. Personally, if I go to the movies, it will be on a random weekday at a time when I know there’s not many people around. Watching a movie doing great in the box office is not in my plans.

However, recently I was lead to go see a movie with my kids that was getting some attention for a unique reason. “Come out Jesus Name” is a movie about a topic that many Christians shy away from or deny entirely: deliverance.

What is deliverance? Have you ever made a commitment to change something about yourself and no matter how much you tried and/or prayed, this habit or characteristic would not break away? Well in most cases, if you heart is set on change but your actions are not reflecting that, then you may be in need of some rescuing or help getting freedom. When Jesus walked this earth, that was a large part of his ministry— freeing people spiritually. He still does the same today.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV

Beloved, sometimes the problem is not you, but what you have allowed in your spirit through the participation of or agreement with sin.

This movie explained how demonic oppression works very clearly for me, making sense of a lot things in life that seemed unexplainable, and I strongly believe everyone in search of answers from a higher perspective should go see this movie and also prepare for God to show up in some way during the experience.

Do not worry if the movie is no longer playing in your area or if you discover the version you watch has been edited to leave out an important part at the end. Knowledge and the desire for godly wisdom is a very powerful thing, and if you need to know more on this topic, God will provide a way!

God bless you and remember, Jesus loves you ♥️
